February was our first Charity Knit-In for 2003.  We had a good turnout, but missed our snowbirds.

Judy Rupple brought the  "baby sacque" that she knitted for her soon to arrive granddaughter.  The pattern is from Knitwords No. 23 - page 8.  She used two strands of 2/24 yarn.
 

Pat Haden, a past member, attended the Charity Knit-In and became inspired to pull her knitting machine out and start playing around again.  We hope to see her face as a regular in the meetings to come.  Pat is working on a simple hat in this picture.

Judy Rupple brought her Studio Knitting Machine and worked on simple hats to send to the troops. Check out the recipe section for the Upside Down Apple Pie recipe.

Yes!  It is Robin Linton behind that maze of antennas and yarn.  Robin made hats for the little ones.  One was made using a lace pattern, that turned out really cute.
