In March our project was anything "Green".  Here is what we have for show n' tell:

Carolyn came with her very first project, a heather green hat.  She also has one of the ponchos she is making for her granddaughters



Shirley B is sporting fancy scarves that she knitted using novelty yarn.  Look close and you will see some shades of green.



Shirley R made several hats, some by hand and the "green" on by machine.  Also a small dark green poncho.
Shirley wants to try and make the swirled had on the knitting machine.  If she is successful, you may see the pattern details here in the future.

Pam made a short sleeve sweater from a Linda Edison-Smole pattern using yarn from her stash of Red Heart's Luster Sheen Yarn. 

Pat worked on two fun fur scarves.  One in a darker green with a black base and the other in a lighter green with a white base yarn.  She was working off of Robin's mitten pattern to make a scarf in a similar method.

May 19th General Meeting - Pat Haden's home.  'Weaving' will be the technique of the month.  Please keep Pat and her spouse Eldon in your thoughts and prayers as Eldon continues to battle his illness.  If Eldon is under the weather or Pat is not up to holding the meeting in her home,  please check with Pam to confirm the meeting location.

June 3rd through 5th - Camp Iwanna Knit.  A hands on class for machine knitting.  Look for registration information at www.knittingtoday.com

June 16th General Meeting - Shirley Birkey's home.  Learn to use your 'racking handle'.  Make a project using a 'racking' technique. 

July 21st General Meeting - Jackie Neely's home.  Bring a NEW to you 'neckline technique to show and share.

August 18th General Meeting - Shirley Reznik's home.  Charity Knitting Collection for 2005.
