Sorry for the delay in getting this newsletter out to everyone, but as many of you know we have had a very busy January.  Fred had several surgeries.  He is now back to work and I am not working woman, nurse, and the man of the house.  I am thankful to have good friends that helped with meals and shoveling snow.  On top of Fred being out of commission, my co-worker also had surgery at the same time.  So I have been wearing two hats at work and picking up extra hours to keep her desk in order as well as mine.  Than came the curb that took out my steering and left me without a vehicle for nine(9) days.  I am so glad to my life back.

In January we traveled to LaGrange, Indiana and the home of Linda Carney.  We had a small turn out, but a great time.

Here is a picture of the back of the "Mickey Mouse" sweater Linda knitted for her daughter to wear when she visited "Disney World"

Linda added a "Mickey" appliqué to the front of the sweater to make the sweater complete.

Linda made G-Carriage dishcloths from the G-Carriage book published by Knitters Edge  Check it out if you have a G-Carriage

Robin used the Boa technique to create collar and cuffs for this ready made sweater.  She used a specialty yarn that worked up really great!

Robin made several Boa's for Christmas gifts.  Here is a picture of her Boa and a couple that she plans to give as gifts.

The pattern for the Chenille Boa is now posted on the Pattern Page of this website.

A display of Chenille Boa colors than Pam has made.  I takes about 1 hour to make a boa
