Christmas In July at the Knit Knack Shop will be July 22nd and July 23rd.  Those that want to ride with me, Pam, on Saturday the 23rd, need to CALL FRED and let him know that you want to ride and where you want to be picked up.

There will be two pick up sites - 7a.m. at Pam's house and about 7:30 a.m. at the Meijer's Store on  331 South, Mishawaka, IN.

I will be out of town until late on Friday, July 22nd, without access to my email.

Michigan Fiber Festival will be held August 20th and 21st at the Allegan County Fairgrounds in Allegan Michigan.  Workshops will be held the 17th through the 21st.  For more information visit their website at www.michiganfiberfestival.org

April's project was "Double Bed Tuck"

CONGRATULATIONS Shirley R - A double bed tuck stitch Hat & Scarf!

Shirley also completed a sweater for a friend.  Shirley worked from a sweater that fit the friend and charted the sweater based on the garment measurements.

Robin shows off the front of a "Spiderman" sweater that she is working on for a grandson.  Lots of Duplicate Stitch work.

June - project of the month "racking".  We had samples but no full-blown projects.  But here are the Show & Tell Pictures.

Shelby joined our knitting group along with her brother Pete.

Pete had no problem making himself comfortable during knit club.

Shirley B shows off the G-Carriage afghan that she designed using DAK.  It was for a 50th Wedding Anniversary.

Shirley B incorporated what she learned at the Shirley Adams Sewing Seminar and the weaving class at Spring Fling and created this great clutch purse.

Jackie used the same Pick Up Weaving technique and created a child's sweater.

Jackie also showed her sweater with the front zipper and knit-woven panels.

August 18th General Meeting - Shirley Reznik's home.  Charity Knitting Collection for 2005.  Remember, we talked about "Dog Sweaters" that we could donate to the local shelters.  But hats, mittens, scarves and blankets are also needed and will be distributed to the proper charities.

    We will also be setting our schedule for the rest of 2005 and into 2006.
    If you have ideas for future projects, please bring them to the meeting.
